Scope of Role
 
Due to our growth, we are looking for a team member with proven client leadership experience and deep knowledge of market access strategies within healthcare to join us as a Vice President of Client Partnership.
 
In this role, you will own MMIT’s relationship with pharmaceutical clients. You will ensure client success and loyalty at the highest levels to optimize renewal rates and opportunities for expansion. As the primary champion for assigned clients, you will also collaborate with internal experts to support clients with achieving long-term goals.
In this role as VP of Client Partnership, you will:
  • Achieve and maintain a deep, meaningful knowledge of each client’s business, the competitive landscape, and MMIT solutions to support clients with achieving business objectives,
  • Create account plans with Sales Executives and Client Success Managers to proactively capture opportunities or address risks at strategic and tactical levels,
  • Lead strategic account meetings at each client site on a quarterly basis to discuss market trends, review the account status, learn from clients, reiterate the value of our partnership, share the innovation roadmap, and assess the climate for renewal or expansion,
  • Build, enhance, and manage relationships with key executives, decision makers, and influencers within each account to demonstrate the value of our partnership and ensure satisfaction at the highest levels,
  • Serve as a client advocate within MMIT by appropriately communicating ideas for adding value to our clients, identifying potential solutions or mitigating risks, and bringing in peers or senior leaders to achieve strategic objectives,
  • Negotiate and execute multi-year renewal agreements with assigned clients.
 
How You'll Succeed
 
  • Renewal and Expansion: You will ensure retention of accounts and/or identification of expansion opportunities for a Sales Executive to pursue,
  • Client Relationships: You will ensure that executives, decision makers, and influencers in the account recognize the value of our partnership,
  • Client Satisfaction: You will achieve client satisfaction with our products, ensure that MMIT is viewed as a strategic partner, clients are willing to refer others or act as a reference.
Essential requirements
 
  • Proven client leadership experience and deep knowledge of market access strategies within healthcare,
  • Previous experience of account management within healthcare,
  • Ability to influence at all levels as well as to build and strengthen relationships to achieve strategic objectives,
  • Deep knowledge of the healthcare industry and an understanding of how products build value for clients,
  • Previous experience in a strategic role - ability to excel at identifying goals, developing plans, identifying potential solutions and mitigating risks,
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with internal experts, peers and senior leaders,
  • Proven negotiation skills and experience of executing multi-year renewal agreements within healthcare,
  • Strong executive presence,
  • Ability to manage time effectively,
  • Experience of working in PowerPoint and ability to present with confidence.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $220,000 plus bonus. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
